Club Notes 1st October 2017

Ulster Championship 

The seniors will face Shercock of Cavan in the preliminary round of Ulster Championship on Sunday 15th October, scheduled to take place in Breffini Park.

U21 Championship

The u21s faced Limavady on Friday and put up a sold performance as they ran out winners on a scoreline of Newbridge 0-22 Limavady 2-10.

Newbridge scorers were M McGrogan (0-08), O McGlone (0-04), C Doherty (0-03), A McGlone (0-02), L McElhone, PJ O’Neil, C McCartney, P Gilmore and E Crossan (0-01 each).

The team now face Ballinderry in the semi final.


Congratulations to Paudie McGrogan on another personal accolade as he was named on Electric Irelands Minor football team of the year.

St Mungos of Luganulk 

The club will be hosting the production of ‘St Mungos of Luganulk 2- The Umpire Strikes Back’ followed by Disco on Friday 27th October. This is the follow on show to the one which we previously held in December 2014. Tickets are now on sale from any committee member, cost £15 each.


The committee wish to offer our deepest sympathies to the Diamond family circle on the recent passing of Anne. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.


This week’s lotto numbers are 1, 2,, 17 & 22 there were no winners Mickey O’Neill, Cathal McGurk, Conor Doherty and Richard Drain each win £25. Next weeks jackpot is £2,400.
