Club Notes 21st May 2017

Seniors and Reserves

Both teams made the journey to Ballerin on Sunday for the next round of league fixtures. The reserves were first up and put in a dominating performance to win easy on a scoreline of Newbridge 5-19 Ballerin 3-10.

Newbridge scorers were C Diamond (4-05), P McGuigan (1-01), J Diamond (0-07), A McGlone (0-02), PJ Oโ€™Neill, P Murphy, J Gilmore & R McNabb (0-01 each).

The senior game saw the Bridge get off to a sluggish start however a fortuitous goal from Dessie McColgan from all of 35 yards in the 16th minute provided a much needed spark and from this they never looked back as they ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of Newbridge 2-15 Ballerin 1-04.

Newbridge scorers were C Doherty (1-02), D McColgan (1-00), P McGrogan (0-05), O McGlone & N Rocks (0-02), E Burke, C Brooks, C McGrogan & D Mulholland (0-01 each).

There is no games this weekend due to the Derry game, good luck to all our club men involved in the minors and seniors.

Cul Campย

Gaeltacht Bursaries

To encourage and support our youngsters we offer a small bursary for each youth member who wishes to attend the Gaeltacht. To apply, a parent/guardian of the child should contact Mรกire McPeake

Lotto

This weekโ€™s lotto numbers are 11, 19, 20 & 21 – there were no winners. Barry Murphy, M Adair, James McNeill and Sally McGarry each win ยฃ25. Next weeks jackpot is ยฃ1,450ย

Bingo continues to take place every Saturday night at 8.30pm in the Hall.
